About BHB
BHB, short for beta-hydroxybutyrate, is one of three ketone bodies the body produces and uses as a source of energy. Quick rundown of what we ship and how it gets to you. Every bottle is checked before it leaves us, then double-sealed: clear shrink wrap on the outside, tamper-evident foil under the cap. Amazon takes it from there. We work with Amazon FBA, so they handle our storage and shipping end-to-end. Your bottle will land in either a small box or a padded Amazon mailer, depending on the order. No. BHB is can be used by adults 19 years and older according to the recommended directions, because it provides a supplemental source of beta-hydroxybutyrate,. If you're already on a strict low-carbohydrate diet, please consult your healthcare practitioner first, since that's flagged in the cautions.
Why are the capsules large, and why 6 per day? +
BHB is bulky as a powder, and the amount used in the product requires a relatively large capsule volume. The 6-capsule daily dose adds up to 1,620 mg of total BHB across the three salts. We use the largest capsule size that's still comfortable to swallow, which is what gets us to a 6-capsule daily total.
Is it for men and women? +
Yes, all adults 19+.
Can I take it with my medication? +
Talk to your healthcare practitioner first, especially if you take medications for blood sugar, blood pressure, or kidney function.
Can I stack it with other Kasha Nutrition supplements? +
