Black Maca or Tri Color Maca, what's the difference?
Maca grows in three natural colour varieties: yellow, red, and black. They share the same family of active compounds. The different colours contain naturally varying proportions of the plant's characteristic compounds. Both products are licensed for the same Health Canada-approved uses.
Is it for adults?
Yes, the licensed dose is for adults 19+. Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have high blood pressure, take antidepressants or blood thinners, or suffer from any psychological disorder or condition such as frequent anxiety or depression.
Can I take it with my medication?
Talk to your healthcare provider first. The cautions on the label flag specific medications (antidepressants, blood thinners) and conditions (high blood pressure, anxiety, depression). Black pepper / piperine may also alter the effectiveness of other medications and natural health products.
Can I stack it with other Kasha supplements?
