About the ingredients
Most of what's in here are plants people have reached for at the end of the day for a very long time. Chamomile is the one you probably know best, the same flower that goes into a warm cup before bed. Lemon balm is a member of the mint family with a soft citrus scent. Hops might surprise you, since it's better known for brewing, but it has a long history in herbal preparations too. Valerian and passionflower round out the group, both long-used in traditional herbal medicine.
The formula also includes a few non-herbal ingredients: L-tryptophan, which is an amino acid, magnesium, which is a mineral, and vitamin B6. They're part of the blend alongside the herbs.
One thing I like about this formula is how clean it is. The only non-medicinal ingredient is the capsule itself, which is plant-based. There are no fillers beyond that, and no artificial colors or preservatives.

What to expect
Sleep is personal, so this varies a lot, and timing varies from one person to the next.
One thing worth keeping in mind: if sleeplessness continues for more than three weeks, that's a conversation to have with your healthcare provider rather than something to push through with a supplement. It's flagged in the cautions for a reason.
Before you start

Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you:
- are pregnant or breastfeeding

Do not use if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy family. Some people may experience drowsiness. Exercise caution if operating heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle, or involved in activities requiring mental alertness.
Common questions
When should I take it? +
Two capsules once a day, usually 30 to 60 minutes before bed. Follow the recommended directions for use.
Is it habit-forming? +
These are traditional herbal sleep ingredients rather than prescription sleep medication. Good sleep mostly comes down to routine, environment, and daily habits. If you have questions about taking it long term, your healthcare provider is the right person to ask.
Can I take it with alcohol or other sleep aids? +
No. Taking it with alcohol, sedative medications, or other sleep products that have sedative properties isn't recommended, and that's an explicit part of the label. If you're looking for something you can combine safely, your healthcare provider can point you in the right direction.
Can I take it with my other supplements? +
We always recommend talking to your healthcare provider before combining any supplements. Every body is different, and your provider knows your personal health history best. If they give you the green light, we suggest introducing one supplement at a time and seeing how your body responds before adding the next.
Can I take it during pregnancy or while breastfeeding? +
Please check with your healthcare provider first. Both are flagged in the product's cautions.
What size does it come in? +
Our current size is 60 capsules, which works out to about a 30-day supply at two a day. We're always working on expanding our catalogue with new sizes and product lines, so keep an eye out. In the meantime, you can find us on Amazon at our Amazon storefront, where we run ongoing promotions, offer Subscribe & Save, and bulk-purchase discounts at checkout.
Do you have a satisfaction policy? +
Yes. We back your first bottle with our first-order satisfaction policy. If you try it and it isn't the right fit, just email us at info@kashanutrition.com with your Amazon order ID and we'll sort out a refund to your original payment method. We take care of it personally over email.
What should my bottle look like when it arrives? +
Every bottle ships with a double seal: a shrink-wrap around the outside and a tamper-evident seal under the cap. Some of our products arrive in a small outer box and some ship straight in an Amazon mailer. Both are normal. If anything looks off, like a broken or missing seal, a damaged bottle, leaking, or anything unusual about the capsules inside, email us at info@kashanutrition.com with a quick photo and we'll take care of it right away.
Third-party testing
Every batch is independently third-party tested. A sample report is available here.
