What's the difference between Ceylon cinnamon and regular cinnamon?
Most cinnamon on grocery shelves is Cassia. Ceylon is a different species with naturally lower coumarin content. Both smell and taste similar.
Why is there black pepper in it?
Black pepper is where the piperine comes from. Piperine is listed as the second medicinal ingredient on the label. Note: black pepper / piperine may alter the effectiveness of other medications and natural health products.
When should I take it?
One capsule with each main meal works well for most people.
Can I take it if I have diabetes?
Please check with your healthcare provider first. Diabetes is specifically flagged in the cautions on the licence.
Can I take it during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
